The Stag we painted the other week waiting for a new screen which we will fit , then goes home for the owner to fit up at his leisure.
Up for grabs is this very original rust free V12 2+2 auto LHD E type series 3. Very nice interior but the exterior lets it down as a bit bashed about. Nice little project for someone as with a set of correct size tyres and a repaint it would look beautiful. Needs a heater box as missing and the radiator top shield. Engine was rebuilt recently and under bonnet repainted at the same time.
I'm very tempted to keep it and do it, but it's here for sale at the moment ! Another Saturday on the 2CV8. Lifted the front as too low, wired up the rain light and wiper motor, tidied up the wiring to the switches, reset the wiper arm to get it out of my line of vision and put mesh into the bonnet sides. I can see the end of the tunnel coming up ! Plus might be asked to show it somewhere pretty impressive but not sure yet so want it finished and ready just in case.
I do like a V8 Rover. Not the best power or cheap to get any but simple, light and small and British.
Bentley know how to make life difficult. Renewed the brake master cylinder on a 1947 Mk6, all the rods are for the linkage as rod operated rear and hydraulic fronts.
Congratulations to Sam who did his CBT today and was passed , unfortunately the lad with him was not deemed same to go out on the road. So has to go again . Obviously can't ride this so looking for a 125 ( bit of a come down for him ) Not sure how I feel about him out on a bike but he is insistent and i gave in.
