Me and my helper Sammy. Always a great help and company at race meetings. Anyway for the first time since 2019 when I raced the Jag, I was back racing at lydden hill. I went out on slicks for the first time and with the new discs . It was a totally different car and I was having fun but a couple of times at the devil's elbow the steering felt as if it didn't want to straighten up. Came in after practice and tom of TMR who most of you know used to work for me offered to have a quick check over it for me, (saves getting my overalls dirty) Found the n/ s shock which is a known brand and has had no real use was shot and bloody loose. I Decided I would go for a play anyway . I had a fantastic race with Steve Dann until he retired and I came 2nd in class but fifth overall. Come the second race and on the grid something felt wrong when I touched the brake pedal . When on the second lap the steering was all over the place and felt very unsafe and after removing my splitter doing a bit of strimming I decided to pull off. Very glad I did as it appears one of the poly bushes on the track control arm has half pulled out and that would of been serious ! So at last I think I could get to enjoy this car so will have it ready for Brands in August. It was so good seeing so many old friends and ex racers who came over to say hello

One last ditch attempt at finding some new front brake discs (ie.performance friction when new). Considering 15 cars and all the spares that were shipped back from the middle east, does anyone have some kicking about they would sell me ? . This, before I have to change the bloody lot to something else at vast expense which I really don't want to do. Desperate to get it out and used but pointless with no decent brakes to stop it !

I'm just trying to keep it simple and original , the bits have got to be out there somewhere.
Thanks for all the help, I have suitable discs both Wilwood and dba but either way I need bells and that creates other problems. I was just hoping someone might have some original ones.
