Another week, another dollar. V12 E type still going back together as parts arrive, Rover ready to have it's new headlining fitted and one very badly repaired Series 1 E.type for major door frame repairs and new floors.
Busy time at the moment, Triumph TR6 engine block cleaned and painted ready to start it's rebuild. Lovely Jaguar 240 in for a clutch hydraulics rebuild as it let go on the owners drive fortunately and the V12 E Type suspension is going back together having been powder coated just to try something different out. Fed up with the usual metal coatings going off so quickly especially should you get any salt on it if you use your car during the winter.
Sometimes I despair, you order from specialists and the parts are as much use as a chocolate tea pot.
How the hell do I get a washer and nut on that? Sometimes I despair, you order from specialists and the parts are as much use as a chocolate tea pot. How the hell do I get a washer and nut on that?
Oh dear, E type looks lovely but where is the seam that should be under the chrome. It's fitted with a few screws and super glue.

Waiting on wheel centres for slightly wider rears and some livery and a more unusual finishing touch to the front end and I'm done. But with the amount of customer work I have to finish I don't think it's going to be this year !
