Race E , although the car will have an alloy bonnet it was decided to finish fitting the original and then paint and store it in case it's required in the future. So first off we trimmed the back edge as the bonnet was forward of the sill ends at the wheel arch yet hitting the bulkhead, and with a lot of spacers in the front ! Now we have a gap we can close slightly which will line the arch up with the sill ends and get rid of the excess spacers.
What is there to say, we spent as long making it look right and run right. Hiding and moving items as the owner requested. 1968 JAGUAR E-TYPE 4.2, 2+2 AUTO |
