It's all V12s today. Red one having the block and heads cleaned before we fit tubular exhaust manifolds and Weber's to it and the sable one out of storage for Mot and general shake down as replacement Speedo drive broke on first drive !!.
V12 E Type engine apart for camshafts, manifolds and Weber's so seems only right to clean up everything while you can get to it. So blasted, painted and polished first camcover. Next the head etc.
Where there was once lots of messy wires and pipes, now there is not. Ash has been doing a bit of tidying on the Race E Type.
S1 3.8 E Type back together having had the carbs off to renew some leaky core plugs. While they were off we gave them and the engine bay a bit of a clean but I happen to know the new owner is a bit of a hands on type so he can now tinker to his hearts delight.
Looking how an E Type should ( dirty and used) but didn't miss a beat on the trip home. Could be for sale before, during or after restoration .
Something a bit different for us to sort a few problems out on and run next year. Strangely having ran various customers race cars over the years this will be the first E type !
